Gemma Gibbons, a qualified personal trainer, is passionate about fitness and when Covid-19 hit she immediately started Zoom sessions to ensure people could still access exercise classes.
Online courses have continued to grow and last month a new website was launched as a digital resource for people struggling with work/life balance while trying to stay healthy.
She said: “As a working mum I know the stresses people face so I put together this program to meet the need for a holistic fitness plan that will fit into n any schedule.
“I wanted to deliver a fitness program that focused on optimal movement, being strong and feeling great – and I didn’t want people who couldn’t attend physical classes to face fitness barriers.”
The new website – www.gemsfitnesspt.co.uk – offers four real-time workouts per week, which are then recorded for playback and catching up at any time to suit your lifestyle.
There is also nutritional support, information and recipes available to members and people can log on anywhere and anytime with minimal space, so everyone can fit exercise into their day.
“In addition to offering flexible and accessible classes, I want to help people who find it difficult to motivate themselves or who are bored of always doing the same routines,” added Gemma.
“The clients I work with right now are all working many hours in various professional roles with families or other commitments, which means without the online classes they simply couldn’t work on their health and fitness. physical.
“I want to take care of my own body and achieve a healthy life for myself and my family and I want to help as many other people as possible do the same.”
In addition to the online resource, Gemma continues to run personal training sessions for those who find digital training is not for them as she is able to bring the equipment to the customer’s home.
